Jotun SteelMaster Fire Protection is a water-borne intumescent coating designed to protect against cellulosic fire anywhere between 30 minutes and 120 minutes. The thin film intumescent coatings are specifically formulated to provide a chemical reaction upon heating, changing physical form to provide fire protection through a thermal insulation and cooling effect. Jotun SteelMaster Fire protection potentially contain fires or slow its spread, thereby providing time for people to be rescued and firefighters to extinguish the fire. It is used in airports, shopping malls, factories, buildings and in power plants.
