Jotun Barrier is a two-pack zinc rich epoxy primer with a high content of zinc that complies with the compositional requirements for SSPC Paint 20 level 2 and ISO 12944. It provides very good corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system. Jotun Barrier is used as a primer in atmospheric conditions such as offshore environments, mining equipment and structural steel. Suitable for carbon steel, repair of inorganic zinc silicate coating and damaged galvanized steel.

JOTUN 77 JOTUN BARRIER COATING PAINT

A two-pack zinc rich epoxy primer with a high content of zinc that complies with the compositional requirements for SSPC Paint 20 level 2 and ISO 12944. It provides very good corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system. The product is used as a primer in atmospheric conditions such as offshore environments, mining equipment and structural steel. Suitable for carbon steel, repair of inorganic zinc silicate coating and damaged galvanized steel.
BARRIER Series is a two-pack zinc rich epoxy primer.

There are many different types of epoxy primers, but Barrier 77 is a 77% zinc dust epoxy primer that provides protection against corrosive (rust, heat, corrosion, mold) environments. Barrier 77’s high zinc powder provides excellent corrosion protection when used proactively as part of a complete coating system where longevity or durability is required. It is suitable as a primer in atmospheric environments and can be used on carbon steel, for the repair of inorganic zinc silicate coatings and on damaged galvanic steel substrates. Barrier 77 is compatible with ASTM D 520 Type 11 zic dust. It is recommended f offshore environments, refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings and exposed structural steel and piping in corrosively categories up to  C5 (ISO 129442).
