Epoxy Primer

Epoxy Primer refers to a sealer with a porous finish. It is primarily recommended as the first base coat on bare steel. These base coats or epoxy primers can also be used for fiber class, plastic or black iron phosphate coatings. This primer can be applied on cracks and dents.

It is natural to doubt whether epoxy primer is better than ordinary primer. On top of bare, clean metal – Epoxy primers are excellent at sealing bare metal and allowing it to absorb moisture or rust. Epoxy primer is actually a paint that seals oxygen from the metal and is resistant to rust.  Epoxy primer refers to a sealer with a porous finish.
